The Future of Care: Chronic Disease and the Evolving Role of Caregiving

Join us on November 21, 2024, for The Future of Care: Chronic Disease and the Evolving Role of Caregiving.

Join us for a dynamic salon discussion on the future of care for chronic diseases like diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and obesity, which make up the bulk of the nation’s healthcare spending. This conversation will delve into innovative caregiving models, particularly the growing role of pharmacy, social work, and gerontology in chronic disease management.

Hosted by the University of Southern California, Austin Healthcare Council, and Precina Health, this session brings together experts like Vassilios Papadopoulos, Dean of USC’s Pharmacy and Social Work Schools, to discuss the critical role of pharmacy in these evolving care models.
