Our May meeting will be a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Bill Rice, Senior Vice President of Clinical Innovations at St. David’s Healthcare/HCA. The discussion will focus on the intersection of social services and healthcare in Austin. Panelists will include the Interim Chief Executive Officer of CommUnity Care, Chief Executive Officer of Pair Team along representatives from the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System and a regional Medicaid payer.

The primary focus will be addressing the needs of vulnerable patient populations in Travis County and the surrounding areas. Given the critical role the Federally Qualified Health Centers and Department of Veterans Affairs play within the community, the conversation will include their efforts in the community convening to collaborate on community-wide healthcare initiatives.
